FR\/ La r\u00e9sidence Hitchhiker<\/em><\/strong>, est un projet du duo d’artiste Encastrable<\/a>, il est n\u00e9 de l\u2019envie d’ajouter une touche d\u2019impr\u00e9vu aux modes de production de la musique \u00e9lectronique, processus souvent s\u00e9dentaire et solitaire. C’est un road-trip de cr\u00e9ation musicale<\/strong>, dans lequel les artistes sont invit\u00e9s \u00e0 produire des morceaux \u00e0 partir des captations r\u00e9alis\u00e9es au fil d’un voyage de quelques jours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A l’issue de chaque r\u00e9sidence, sont produits : un EP Digital sur le label Carpaccio Cathedrale<\/a><\/strong>, un documentaire vid\u00e9o sur notre page Youtube<\/a>, ainsi qu’une restitution radiophonique sur LYL.live<\/strong><\/a>, radio en ligne exigeante, d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la sc\u00e8ne \u00e9lectronique contemporaine. Pour la saison 2020-2021 le soutient financier de la R\u00e9gion Grand Est<\/strong> et du fond franco-germano-suisse pour la musique contemporaine : Impuls Neue Musik<\/strong> nous a permis d\u2019emmener 5 artistes dans cette aventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EN\/ The Hitchhiker<\/em><\/strong> residency is a project from the two french artist Encastrable<\/a>, it was born from the desire to add a touch of unexpectedness to the often sedentary and solitary process of electronic music production. It is a music creation road-trip<\/strong>, in which artists are invited to produce tracks using sounds recorded during a journey of a few days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of each residency, we produce a digital EP on Carpaccio Cathedrale<\/strong>‘s label, a video documentary and a radio broadcast on LYL.live<\/a>, a leading online radio dedicated to the contemporary electronic scene. For the 2020-2021 season, the financial support of the R\u00e9gion Grand Est<\/strong> and the Franco-German-Swiss fund for contemporary music: Impuls Neue Musik<\/strong> has allowed us to bring 5 artists in this adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FR\/ Encastrable<\/strong><\/em>, le duo de plasticiens \u00e0 l\u2019origine du projet, pratique la \u201csculpture par intrusion\u201d. Ils s\u2019invitent dans des espaces inattendus pour improviser \u00e0 partir des \u00e9l\u00e9ments disponibles des propositions absurdes ou incongrues qui questionnent notre rapport au r\u00e9el. Par leur pratique ludique et accessible ils d\u00e9sacralisent la d\u00e9marche artistique tout en invitant \u00e0 l\u2019imagination. La r\u00e9sidence de cr\u00e9ation Hitchhiker <\/em><\/strong>est la transposition de cette d\u00e9marche dans le champ de la musique \u00e9lectronique.

EN\/ Encastrable<\/em><\/strong>, the duo of visual artists behind the project, practice \u00ab\u00a0intrusive sculpture\u00a0\u00bb. They invite themselves into unexpected spaces to improvise absurd or incongruous proposals using the elements available, questioning our relationship with reality. Through their playful and accessible practice, they desacralize the artistic process while inviting the imagination. The Hitchhiker<\/em><\/strong> creation residency is the transposition of this approach into the field of electronic music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
