FR/ Joachim Montessuis développe une pratique ouverte et contextuelle autour notamment de la voix, du son continu, du bruit et de la résonance depuis plus de 20 ans. Diplômé de l’école régionale des beaux-arts de Besançon (ERBA, DNSEP, 1996), il s’intéresse de près à la poésie sonore et commence à travailler avec la voix de manière spontanée début 1993 sur ordinateur avec le système de montage son Pro Tools fraîchement acheté par l’ERBA. Il crée alors des installations sonores et donne depuis ce temps principalement des concerts/performances, qui mêlent électronique bruitiste et poésie. Il co-fonde ensuite l’association Erratum avec Yvan Étienne et Michel Giroud en 1994.

EN/ Joachim Montessuis has been developing an open and contextual practice around the voice, continuous sound, noise and resonance for over 20 years. After graduating from the Regional School of Fine Arts in Besançon (ERBA, DNSEP, 1996), he became interested in sound poetry and began working with the voice spontaneously at the beginning of 1993 on a computer with the Pro Tools sound editing system recently purchased by the ERBA. He then created sound installations and since then has mainly given concerts/performances, which mix noise electronics and poetry. He then co-founded the Erratum association with Yvan Étienne and Michel Giroud in 1994.
